Königsleiten and the Zillertal Arena
Königsleiten (1,600 m) is a purpose-built village of chalets, apartments and hotels on the Salzburg side of the Gerlos pass, snow-sure thanks to its altitude and ski-in/ski-out for most accommodation. It belongs to the Zillertal Arena (Zell am Ziller – Gerlos – Königsleiten – Hochkrimml) with around 150 km of pistes and 52 lifts, and the Zillertal Superskipass covers Mayrhofen and Hintertux as well.
The village has a ski school, a few restaurants and a swimming pool; Gerlos with more shops and après-ski is 10 minutes down the pass.

The journey from Innsbruck Airport to Königsleiten
Motorway to Wiesing, the Zillertal road to Zell am Ziller and the Gerlos pass road (toll, included) through Gerlos and over the pass to Königsleiten – about 1 hour 30 minutes. The pass road is a main road kept open in winter and cleared constantly.
Our vehicles use winter tyres and carry chains; the climb to the chalets above the road is no problem.
