Alpbach and the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau
Alpbach (1,000 m) is famous for its uniform wooden farmhouse architecture, protected by a building code since 1953, and for the European Forum held here every summer. In winter the Wiedersberger Horn gondola from Achenwirt and the Pöglbahn from Inneralpbach open the Ski Juwel Alpbachtal Wildschönau with around 109 km of pistes and 45 lifts, linked across the Schatzberg to Auffach.
The village has traditional hotels, a small ski school area in the centre for beginners and a relaxed, family atmosphere; Reith im Alpbachtal and the Inn valley are 15 minutes away.

The journey from Innsbruck Airport to Alpbach
Inn valley motorway east to the Kramsach exit, then through Brixlegg and Reith im Alpbachtal up the Alpbach valley road to the village – about 1 hour. The road is a main road served by buses and is cleared regularly.
Inneralpbach and the chalets above the village add a few minutes; your driver takes you to the door.
