Bruneck and the Kronplatz / Plan de Corones
Bruneck (838 m) is the main town of the Pustertal with a medieval old town, the Messner Mountain Museum Ripa in the castle and the LUMEN photography museum on the summit of the Kronplatz (2,275 m). The mountain has 119 km of wide, sunny pistes and 32 lifts with gondolas from Reischach (Bruneck), St. Vigil and Olang, and belongs to Dolomiti Superski with 1,200 km on one pass.
The ski bus and a railway link Bruneck with the lift bases; the town's hotels, shops and restaurants make it a good base for mixed groups.

The journey from Innsbruck Airport to Bruneck
We take the Brenner motorway into Italy and the A22 to Bressanone – Pustertal, then the Pustertal expressway east to Bruneck – about 1 hour 30 minutes. Reischach at the Kronplatz gondola, St. Vigil and Olang add 10 to 20 minutes.
The whole route is on motorways and expressways open all winter; bring your passport or ID card for the border.
