Fulpmes and Schlick 2000
Fulpmes (937 m) is a lively village with shops, restaurants and the Stubai tram to Innsbruck, and the base of Schlick 2000 – a family-friendly ski area with around 22 km of pistes up to 2,240 m, a good ski school and one of Tyrol's best-known freeride zones. The Stubai Glacier (up to 3,210 m, skiing from October to June) is 25 minutes further up the valley on the free ski bus.
Telfes, Mieders and Neustift are all within ten minutes, and the whole valley uses one Stubai Super Skipass.

The journey from Innsbruck Airport to Fulpmes
From the airport we take the Brenner motorway A13 to the Schönberg exit and the Stubai valley road through Mieders to Fulpmes – about 20 minutes. The road is a wide valley road, cleared immediately after snowfall.
Hotels in Medraz and at the Schlick 2000 base station are a few minutes further; the driver takes you to the door.
