Söll is the first SkiWelt village you reach from Innsbruck: down the Inn valley motorway to Wörgl, then ten minutes up to the foot of the Hohe Salve – 80 km, about 1 hour 5 minutes. Tirol Airport Shuttle drives the route at a fixed price agreed before you book, day and night, straight to your hotel or chalet.
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, tracks your flight and loads skis and luggage for you. Tolls, waiting time on delays and child seats are included – the price you see is the price you pay.

Söll and the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental
Söll (703 m) sits below the Hohe Salve at the western end of the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, one of Austria's largest connected ski areas with around 270 km of pistes and 80 lifts linking Söll, Scheffau, Ellmau, Going, Itter, Hopfgarten, Brixen im Thale and Westendorf. The village gondola leaves from the Hochsöll base a short drive from the centre; a free ski bus connects most accommodation.
Söll is known for Austria's largest floodlit night-skiing area, the Hexenwasser summer attraction and a lively but family-friendly village centre with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Most British and Dutch guests stay in hotels around the church square or in chalets on the road towards the lift.

The journey from Innsbruck Airport to Söll
From the airport we take the A12 Inn valley motorway east past Hall, Schwaz and Wörgl and leave it at Wörgl-Ost. From there the road climbs through Bad Häring to Söll in about ten minutes. The whole transfer takes about 1 hour 5 minutes; on a Saturday in February allow an extra 15 minutes for holiday traffic around Wörgl.
The motorway is cleared and gritted around the clock, so snow rarely delays the trip. Our drivers use winter tyres and carry chains, and they know the chalets on the hillside above the village that satnavs get wrong.

Good to know
- Söll shares its lift pass with the whole SkiWelt – Scheffau, Ellmau and Westendorf are on the same ticket.
- Ski hire shops are at the Hochsöll base and in the village; the driver can stop at either on the way in.
- For a return transfer to Innsbruck Airport we suggest leaving Söll 2 h 15 min before departure.
