St. Christoph: the top of Ski Arlberg
St. Christoph is a hamlet of a few hotels around the historic Arlberg Hospiz, founded in 1386, and the Austrian national ski instructors' academy. It lies directly on the pistes of Ski Arlberg – with around 300 km of marked runs and 88 lifts Austria's largest connected ski area – with lifts to Galzig and St. Anton on one side and towards Stuben, Zürs and Lech on the other.
Being at 1,800 m, the village is snow-sure from December to April; the ski-in/ski-out location and the quiet make it the choice of guests who want the Arlberg without the nightlife of St. Anton, which is 8 km down the road.

The journey from Innsbruck Airport to St. Christoph
We follow the Inn valley motorway west to Landeck and the Arlberg expressway through the Stanzertal to St. Anton, then climb the Arlberg pass road for the last 8 km to St. Christoph. About 1 hour 20 minutes in normal conditions.
The pass road is kept open in winter and is cleared regularly; during heavy snowfall it can be closed temporarily, and our drivers then agree the timing with you. The alternative via the Arlberg road tunnel to Langen and back up the west side takes only a little longer.

How long is the transfer from Innsbruck Airport to St. Christoph?
About 1 hour 20 minutes for 103 km. By train you reach St. Anton in about 1 hour 45 minutes including the change at Innsbruck main station, then need a bus or taxi up the pass.
What happens if the Arlberg pass is closed?
Short closures during heavy snowfall happen a few times each winter. We monitor the road and agree the timing with you; if necessary we use the Arlberg tunnel and approach from the Langen side.
Is Zurich or Innsbruck closer to St. Christoph?
